My Background
Hi there! My name is Delaine, and I am the lead designer and founder of Designs For Less. I have always been very artistic and creative with a great ability to think outside the box. I worked in Sales and Marketing for many years, while on the side renovating homes and decorating them. Then my neighbors started asking for help. Then their friends. And before I knew it, I was in the design business. When I moved back East to be closer to family, I decided to get formal training and attended the Sheffield School of Interior Design based in Manhattan, NYC. There I learned the technical terms for what I was already doing. I learned CAD and how to read blueprints and the rest is history. Now, 25 years later I have turned a God given talent into a passion to help others achieve their goals of having a home they love at a price they can afford. Thus, the company name became Designs For Less. Because that is what we do.

We strive to help homeowners or renters create spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and comfortable. We work closely with you to understand your needs, preferences, style and taste and then use our expertise to offer affordable and practical solutions that fit into your budget.
